Bethenny Frankel Makes Progress in Divorce Case
As her divorce continues to take a toll on the family, Bethenny Frankel left her apartment in New York City for a meeting on Tuesday (April 30).
The former "Real Housewife of New York" was all business in a black knee-length dress, black jacket, and matching heels as she headed outside.
Though the battle rages on, the parents of daughter Bryn Hoppy are making progress in the legal system. According to TMZ, the two filed paperwork agreeing that there was an "irretrievable breakdown" of the marriage, entitling them to a divorce.
However, issues of property, child custody, and child support are still out there. On May 24th, the two are to submit a parenting plan to the judge.
In an interview with People, Ms. Frankel spoke about the challenges the divorce has brought on, "I really did think it would be amicable. I absolutely did," she said. "I wrote that entire statement myself. And every single word, I believed to be true."
Despite the rough patches the Skinnygirl mogul is facing, she is determined to stay positive. "The truth of the matter is, you go with your gut at the time," Frankel explained. "Whatever I'm going through now, I'm certain that I'll learn something from it. When the clouds pass, I will figure out what the silver lining was."
