Talk about not being willing to cut back. Singer Mariah Carey was asked to travel by economy class to cut costs on her latest flick 'Tennessee' and the singer did just that, but in a fashion that could only be expected out of a diva such as herself.

Apparently, the movie is being made "on a shoestring budget," so Mariah was asked to fly down to the filming location with the rest of the commoners in the economy cabin. According to the Baltimore Sun, those who knew her just about fainted, saying, "She'll never do that!"
