Another "Yes" for Ben Affleck as "Batman:" Michael Keaton Approves
Yet another former “Batman” actor has given the thumbs up to casting Ben Affleck in the next installment of the superhero series.
Michael Keaton starred in director Tim Burton's version of the Caped Crusader in the 1989 movie. While getting into his car Wednesday night (August 28), Keaton told the stalkerazzi that Affleck is “gonna be great.”
Prior to Keaton’s comments about the “Argo” Oscar winner starring in 2015’s “Man of Steel” sequel, former “Batman” Val Kilmer Tweeted, “Give (Ben) a chance!” and Adam West (who played a cartoonish version of the character in the 1960s television series) simply reminded Mr. Jennifer Garner to wear deodorant before squeezing into Batman’s latex costume.
Other previous Batmans, including Christian Bale and George Clooney, haven’t yet expressed their opinions publicly yet.
