After reviewing the Department of Children and Family Services report, a judge has determined that Ariel Winter's sister shall remain the temporary guardian of the "Modern Family" star until a full trial is held.
Judge Michael Levanas noted that the L.A. county Children's Services report had indicated that the 14-year-old was subjected to some emotional abuse, though physical abuse allegations were inconclusive.
The ugly custody battle over "Modern Family" child star Ariel Winter is just getting uglier. The 14-year-old actress's mother, Crystal Workman, released a statement to Celebuzz on Thursday saying, "I love my daughter very much. I would never abuse her in anyway and I have always tried my best to always protect her and do what is right for her."
After "Modern Family" star Ariel Winter was removed from her mother's home due to abuse allegations, Chris Workman has come forward to deny any wrongdoing.
The 14-year-old actress's mother tells People, "It's all untrue, it's all untrue," claiming, "I have my doctor's letter that my daughter's never been abused. … I have stylists' letters that she's never been abused."
