After spending an entire afternoon out on the ocean waves, Anderson Cooper suffered a scary bought of blindness.

The 45-year-old talk show host posted a photo on his Instagram on Tuesday (December 4) donning a piece of white gauze over his sunburnt right eye. He added the caption, “Temporarily blinded last week while on assignment. UV light bouncing off water. Much better now. Details today on #andersonlive."

It was an exciting scene at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night (December 2), as CNN held their “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.”

“Glee” star Jane Lynch showed up for the shindig, looking sharp in a black suit as she smiled for the cameras in the arrivals area. She was joined by the adorable Miranda Cosgrove who looked lovely in a black dress with a bright red lip.
