Stars Step Out for the "American Idol" Finale

Stepping out to celebrate the end of a long road, judges, alums, and fans of "American Idol" attended the Finale Results Show at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 16).

Having given their input to each contestant, judges Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, and Randy Jackson all showed their support.

Report: Nicki Minaj Leaving "American Idol"

With fellow judge and "American Idol" fixture Randy Jackson announcing his departure from the musical talent show earlier this month, a source says Nicki Minaj will be heading off in the sunset after the current season is finished.

According to a report by US Weekly on Wednesday (May 15), the "Roman Holiday" rapper will instead be working on a new album and some endorsement deals she has lined up.

Randy Jackson Officially Leaving "American Idol"

Getting ready for a serious career change, Randy Jackson announced he is officially leaving "American Idol" after the current season.

Taking to Twitter, the last remaining original judge wrote, "Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season.”
