Stepping out for a fun-filled event, America Ferrera was spotted on Tuesday morning (March 23) in New York City.

Press caught up to the “Ugly Betty” actress in front of Walmart’s 40-foot Viking ship modeled after the ships that appear in a new 3D animated feature called “How To Train Your Dragon.”

It’s nearing the end of the “Ugly Betty” era, and America Ferrera says she’ll miss playing the awkward-yet-lovable character.

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” actress told press, “I’ve lived with this character who I’ve loved from day one and I have only grown to feel more connected to her. Her entire journey was about a transformation, kind of coming into her womanhood and owning herself both physically and emotionally.”

Kicking off another work week, America Ferrera was spotted on the set of her hit show “Ugly Betty” in Lower Manhattan today (October 26).

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” actress looked a bit chilly as she filmed scenes while bundled up in some warm winter garb.
