Amanda Bynes’ Bong-Throwing Case: Slated for December Resolution
She was arrested on May 23rd for tossing a bong out her Manhattan high rise window, and Amanda Bynes is scheduled to face the music at a court date in December.
However, the troubled “Hairspray” actress’ attorney Gerald Shargel told a Manhattan judge that she may still be in the psych hospital by the time her appearance rolls around.
He explained, “If she’s not able to be here it doesn’t mean there can’t be a resolution on the case. It’s uncertain when she’ll be released.”
Shargel added that he has stayed “in constant touch” with the DA’s office and hopes to have everything sorted out by December 5th, Bynes’ next hearing.
