Always a "Girl on Fire," Alicia Keys Sets Central Park Ablaze with GMA Concert
Even without the heat, Alicia Keys is always a “Girl on Fire.” The singer performed that hit and more during a performance in Central Park Friday morning (August 30) for a mini-concert on ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America.”
The 32-year-old showed off a new pixie cut as she belted out ”Listen to Your Heart” and “No One.” Maxwell joined her on stage for a bit as well.
Having just celebrated her third anniversary to Swizz Beatz, Alicia described her marriage as “hot” and “fiery.” In fact, she said her song “Fire We Make” was inspired by her relationship.
Next up for the star: she’s touring Latin America, performing at the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil, and executive producing a film called “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete,” starring Jennifer Hudson. She also plans to keep fundraising for Keep a Child Alive Foundation, which supports kids with HIV.
