With another awards show naming its honorees, the 2012 Film Independent's Spirit Awards took place in Santa Monica, California on Saturday afternoon (February 25).
Hosted by Seth Rogen, the star-studded beachfront ceremony's big winner was the French film "The Artist" - which took home four trophies including the top prize of Best Feature.

Debuting the very first look at the hit vampire franchise, HBO released a fifth season teaser trailer for "True Blood" on Sunday night (January 29).
The brief clip does little to give away the show's plotline, though it was accompanied with a tagline reading: “In Bon Temps, nothing stays buried forever.”
It's always one of the more well-attended events, and this year was no different as a full slate of stars hit up HBO's 2012 Golden Globe Awards Afterparty on Sunday night (January 15).
