He’s had no shortage of bad press, so when Chris Brown was accused of getting chewed out by Adele at the 55th Grammy Awards, he was understandably concerned.
However, the “Rolling in the Deep” songstress went above and beyond the call of duty and cleared up the misconception via Twitter, and Breezy couldn’t be more relieved.
Despite widespread reports to the contrary, that awkward picture of Adele and Chris Brown from this past weekend’s Grammy Awards wasn’t as bad as it appeared.
In fact, the “Rolling in the Deep” songstress insists that she wasn’t telling the “Don’t Wake Me Up” hunk off, rather she was paying him some kind words.
She presented Adele with the Best Pop Solo Performance trophy at the 55th Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10), and Jennifer Lopez also handled a little crowd control as well.
When the “Set Fire to the Rain” songstress came up to accept her award, so did Ukrainian television presenter Vitalii Sediuk.

The “Rolling in the Deep” dame wore an “Angelo” gold necklace while visiting a baby boutique, sparking reports that it’s actually her baby boy’s moniker.
