Maria Menounos' Bright 2013 Academy Awards Arrival

She’s never one to miss out on a killer party, and earlier tonight (February 24) Maria Menounos showed up at the 2013 Academy Awards in Hollywood.

The “Extra” cutie was all smiles as she shuffled through the arrivals area, stopping to pose for the shutterbugs in a Romona Keveza dress before hosting her red carpet event.

And the competition is extra fierce at this year’s Oscars, as there’s a ton of great talent and fabulous films up for consideration.

Daniel Day-Lewis’ “Lincoln” is up for a total of 12 awards, while “Life of Pi” has 11 chances at greatness. Additionally, “Silver Linings Playbook,” and “Les Miserables” have each received 8 nominations.
