Making for quite the exciting evening, Anne Hathaway received the trophy for Best Supporting Actress at the 85th Academy Awards in Hollywood tonight (February 24).

The “Dark Knight Rises” actress was thrilled to be recognized for her hard work in the Broadway musical adaptation of “Les Miserables,” as she took the stage at the Dolby Theater to collect her Oscar.

And Anne’s achievement is made even more amazing considering the fierce competition she was up against in the category.

Ms. Hathaway bested Amy Adams, Sally Field, Helen Hunt, and Jacki Weaver, all of whom were worthy contenders with great films of their own.
